How we moderate listings, protect contact details and help you check a business properly before you commit.
Every listing is moderated
Listings are reviewed before they appear publicly. We remove duplicate adverts, misleading claims and anything that looks like a scam.
Your contact details stay private
Buyers message sellers through the site. Telephone numbers and email addresses are stored separately and are never published on a listing page.
Verification badges are earned, not bought
A verified badge only appears once we have checked the seller or broker. Badges cannot be purchased with any listing plan.
No earnings guarantees
Financial figures are supplied by the seller. We show only what the seller provides and never guarantee turnover, profit or future earnings.
Payments handled by Stripe
Listing fees are taken securely by Stripe on behalf of Future Mind Solutions Limited. We never see or store your card details.
Buyer checklist
- Ask for two to three years of accounts and cross-check them against filed records.
- Confirm the legal entity, company number and who is authorised to sell.
- Review the lease, licences and any supplier or franchise agreements.
- Visit the premises and speak to the owner in person before paying anything.
- Use a solicitor and an accountant for the sale agreement and due diligence.
- Never send a deposit to secure a business you have not verified.
Report a listing
Use the Report link on any listing page, or contact us with the listing name. Our moderation team reviews every report and can suspend a listing while we investigate. Listings are advertisements placed by sellers — they are not endorsements, valuations or financial advice.
