Why we exist
Selling a business has traditionally meant expensive advertising packages and long contracts. We keep it simple: one clear listing fee, no subscription, and the same visibility for a small independent shop as for a larger company.
How the marketplace works
- Buyers search by keyword, category, UK location, asking price, turnover and profit — no account required.
- Sellers, brokers and franchisors build a listing step by step, preview it, then pay £1 for 30 days or £12 until the business sells.
- Enquiries reach the seller through the site, so contact details are only shared when the seller chooses.
Who operates the site
1PoundBusiness.com is operated by Future Mind Solutions Limited. Payments are taken securely by Stripe on our behalf; we never see or store card details. Listings are advertisements placed by sellers and are not endorsements, valuations or financial advice.
